Temple imagery
An artistic depiction of the Temple, hand-carved — with pillars, walls, and depth.
If I forget you, Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill— Psalms 137:5
After the Temple was destroyed, the sages decreed that no plastered home should be built — but for a cubit by a cubit by the entrance, left unfinished.
We give that memory an artistic, moving expression: by hand, we expose the raw concrete behind the plaster in a cubit-by-cubit space, and carve into it traditional imagery, inscriptions, and ornaments drawn from Jewish tradition, Jerusalem, and the Temple.
The carving is a daily reminder — as long as the Temple is not rebuilt, we are not whole.
Every piece is planned and carved by hand. Every cubit is a unique signature — the result of days of work, thought, and prayer.

Four steps — from the first meeting to the moment the memory joins the home.
We'll consult and together choose the design, imagery, and inscription that fits your home.
We prepare a precise cubit-by-cubit stencil of the chosen design.
We carefully remove the plaster layer and reveal the raw concrete beneath.
We hand-carve the imagery and inscriptions — every chisel stroke is unique.
