Accessibility Statement
Last updated · 24/05/2026Our commitment to accessibility
At "Measure of Memory" we are committed to providing equal and accessible service to everyone, including people with disabilities. We work to adapt our website and make it accessible to all users in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard 5568 Part 1 — based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0 guidelines, Level AA.
Accessibility level
We aim for Level AA conformance. Accessibility work on the site is ongoing, and we continually work to improve.
Accessibility features implemented
- Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Escape).
- Semantic heading structure (H1, H2, H3) to assist screen readers.

- Inverted contrast— invert the site's colors.
- Grayscale — display the site without color.
- Highlight links — underline and bold all links.

- Dyslexia-friendly font — switch to a font easier to read.
- Stop animations — pause motion and auto-playing media.
- Enlarged cursor — make the mouse cursor larger and easier to spot.
- Reset — return to default settings.
Settings are stored only in your browser's local storage, are not transmitted anywhere, and do not involve cookies.
Browser and assistive technology compatibility
The site is tested and operates properly on the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Screen reader compatibility: NVDA, JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android).
Known accessibility limitations
Despite our efforts, some content on the site may not be fully accessible:
- Some videos on the site may not currently include captions. We are working to add them.
- Some third-party content (such as Instagram embeds) may not be fully accessible — this is the responsibility of the external providers.
- Some images may have only a general alternative description.
If you encounter an accessibility difficulty on the site, we will be happy to assist and provide the information through an accessible alternative.
